Shangri La celebrated Nowruz (Persian New Year) by holding a public event at the museum in March. The educational program included a talk describing the traditions of celebrating Nowruz, a dance by Dr. Sara Mizban, a haft-seen table and foods including sabzi polo (herb rice).
